The D.C., Maryland, Virginia (DMV) area office, based out of Greenbelt, Maryland is currently seeking a full-time Associate. This position will assist with discovery, draft memorandums, pleadings, and other documents, provide legal support and advice to family law clients, and assist with court appearances.
The successful candidate will be barred in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. The candidate should be self-motivated, a self-starter, an independent thinker with exceptional attention to detail, time management, organizational and writing/communication skills, and with the ability to work as part of a team in a high-volume, fast paced work environment.
The applicant must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. 1 year of family law and trusts & estates experience preferred.
